This Privacy Policy explains how KhataBook GST ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use KhataBook GST (the "Service") at invoice.techsinghge.in.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — your email address, used for login via Firebase Authentication.
Business data — business profile, GSTIN, PAN, clients, suppliers, items, invoices, purchase bills, expenses, and payment records you enter into the app.
Usage data — basic technical information (browser type, device) needed to operate the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Service (invoice creation, GST calculation, reports, cloud sync).
To sync your data across your devices and team members (if you use multi-user features).
To process Premium plan payments (via Razorpay).
To communicate with you about your account or the Service, if necessary.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your business data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a cloud database provided by Google. Some data is also cached locally in your browser (localStorage) for offline access. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Firebase — authentication and cloud database.
Razorpay — payment processing for Premium subscriptions. We do not store your card/bank details; Razorpay handles this directly.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules, to restrict access to your data to you and members you explicitly invite to your business.

6. Your Rights

You can export a full backup of your data (Settings → Backup & Restore) at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies

We use minimal local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to keep you logged in and cache your data for offline use.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
